The SKATE competency framework aims at providing a comprehensive overview of skills and competencies related to different areas of professional development necessary to successfully design, develop, implement and assess inclusive educational activities by means of digital technologies.  It brings together indicators and competencies included in existing frameworks such as the Index for Inclusion, the Entelis+ Competences Framework, the KPT Guidelines for Lifelong Learning in Assistive technology and the Universal Design for Learning in order to integrate the specific elements of the project aims, which are: Inclusive education, and inclusive pedagogies such as differentiation and universal design for learning, Digital (Assistive) Technology competences and Digital Inclusion and Inclusive Early Childhood Education and Care.
